2010 has marked the arrival of
IC3 in New Zealand, with Techtorium NZIIT being the first in
the country to offer the internationally recognised certification
progamme. As computers and internet become increasingly pervasive in
today’s digital world it is evident that every New Zealander could
benefit from being IC3 certified.
IC3 (Internet and
Computing Core Certification) is designed to teach individuals the
digital literacy skills associated with basic computer and Internet use.
IC3 training will
enable employers to up skill their staff and increase the productivity
of their business. The certification will also provide a useful
benchmark to determine the computer competence of job applicants during
the recruitment process. As an internationally recognised certification,
IC3 will enable kiwis seeking employment both nationally and
overseas, to provide sufficient evidence of their IT skills.

Students are welcome to complete
the course at their own pace, however 20-40 hours of learning is
expected in order to be adequately prepared for the final examinations.

kept on track through:

Regular quiz tests

Practice exams
Where can the course be completed?
·
The course can
completed either from home, through interactive learning, or on site, at
the Techtorium training centre in Newmarket.
How can students achieve IC3 certification?
·
To successfully
achieve IC3certification students will be offered three exams
upon completion of the course to assess all areas of learning
·
IC3 exams take less
than an hour to complete and can be completed at the Techtorium premises
– Level 3, 182 Broadway Street, Newmarket.
·
Students have up to 12
months to complete the final examinations.
What is the cost of the programme?
The cost of the course is
$345.00 per person (Incl GST) and we are happy to support you through
the process.
